Afternoon treats at the Savoy

Yesterday we went to the Savoy hotel for afternoon tea, which was an incredible gift from friends! It truly was a wonderful treat, eating amazing food and drinking endless cups of tea from fine china cups. The place is so light and airy, and the room temperature was perfect. The favourites of the day were the finger sandwiches with salmon pate and smoked salmon, and the mini pastries (as pictured above). After two hours of indulgence we left very happy and content! The perfect way to spend a sunday afternoon.
